EXTRAORDINARY PART III—Section 4 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1012] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY , DECEMBER 19, 2024 / AGRAHAYANA 28, 194 6 CG-DL-E-21122024-259582 REGIONAL INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, IMPHAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21 st November, 2024 No. B/RR/ 2024 -RIMS (1).—In exer cise of the powers conferred under Rule 3(ii) of t he Bye -Laws of the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal, Manipur and in pursuance of the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare conveyed vide lette r No. U -12015/57/2022 -NE-Part (3 ) dated 06-10-2023, the Chairman, Executive Council, S ociety of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of CSSD Assistant Grade – I in Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal. 1. Short title and commencement. - (i) These rules may be called the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal, CSSD Assistant Grade - I (Group 'C ' post) Recruitment Rules, 2023. (ii) They shall c ome into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Number of p ost, classification, level in pay matrix - The number of the said post, its classification and level in pay matrix, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the S chedule annexed to these rules. 3. Method of recruitment, age Limit, qualifications, et c.- The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule. 4. Disqualification. - No Person, - (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage w ith a person having a spouse living; or (b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person ; shall be eligible for appointment to the said post: Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such mar riage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any per son from the operation of this rule. 5. Power to relax. - where the central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules wi th respect to any class or category of persons. 6. Saving. - Nothing in these rules sha ll affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes , the Ex -servicemen or any other special categories of persons in accordance with the ord ers issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard. Microbiology o r Pharmacology or Me dical Technology (Microbiology) with 1 year ’ experience in CSSD of a Hospital or Pharmaceutical or Operation Theatre in a Hospital. OR i. Nursing Officer with 1 year’ experience in Operation Theatre /CSSD. ii. Should be registered with the Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council. OR Theatre Assistant Course/ CSDD Diploma Course with 2 years’ experience in CSSD/Operation Theatre in a Hospital. OR 12th Science from a recognized University/Bo ard with 3 years’ experience in CSSD Operat ion Theatre and Blood Bank in any hospital. 8 Whether age and educational qualifications prescribed for direct recruits will apply in case of promotees No 9 Period of probation, if any Two years for direct recru it 10 Method of recruitment whether by direct recruitment or by promotion or by deputation/ absorption and percentage of vacancies to be filled by various methods By Promotion failing which by direct r ecruitment 11 In case of promotion by recruitment by promotion/ deputation/ absorption to be ma de Promotion: CSSD Assistant Grade - II in Level 2 of the Pay Matrix with 8 years ’ service in the Grade. 12 If a Departmental Promotion Committee/ Selection Committee exists what is its composition Direct Recruit ment : 1.
