In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Department of Atomic Energy (Lower Division Clerk) Recruitment Rules, 2024, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Department of Atomic Energy (Lower Division Clerk) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Department of Atomic Energy (Lower Division Clerk) Recruitment Rules, 2024, in the Schedule, under column (11), for the portion beginning with the words "Selection shall be made: and ending with the words “service in the grade.", following shall be substituted, namely:- "Selection shall be made from amongst the following Group ‘C' employees who possess 12th class pass or equivalent qualification,- (i) employees at Level 1 (Rs. 18000-56900) in the pay matrix who have rendered three years regular service in the grade, and; (ii) employees at Level 2 (Rs.19900-63200) in the pay matrix."
