Mumbai, the 9 th February, 2023
S.O. 4762. —In exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 of the Atomic Ene rgy Act, 1962 (33 of 1962),
and in supersession of this Department Order No AEA/19(2)/98 -ER/193 (S.O. No.989 published in the Gazette of
India dated 10th April, 1999) the Central Government hereby directs that the powers conferred on it by section 19 of
the said Act shall, in respect of the areas specified under column (1) of the Schedule below being a prohibited area, be
exercisable also by all or any of the officers mentioned in the corresponding entries under column (2) of the said
Schedule, namely: -
