(1) These rules may be called the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) (Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the O fficial Gazette. 2. In the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Amendment Rules, 20 22, in rule 1, in sub -rule (2), for the figures, letters and words “1st day of July, 2023”, the figures, letters and words “1st day of September , 2023” shall be substitu ted.
