No. PNGRB/Auth/ 1-CGD (04)/202 3 (E-4451 ).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 61 of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act, 2006 (19 of 2006), the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks ) Regulations, 20 08, namely: - 1. Short title and commencement : (1) These regulations may be called the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Netw orks) Third Amendment Regulations, 2024. (2) They shall come into f orce on the date of their publication in the official Gazette. 2. In the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Regulations, 2008, - (1) In First Proviso to Clause (g) of sub -regulation (1) of Regulation (2), for the words beginning with “ if required, ” and ending with “…compression facilities”, the following shall be substituted , namely: - “If required, subject to prior approval from PNGRB, the authorized entity may set up and operate compression facilities along with such CGS for an initial period of two (02) years from the date of approval of the Board. Further extension for operating such compression facilities along with CGS may be considered by the Board, on case -to-case basis. Upon expiration of approved period, the authorized entity shall immediately cease the operation of such compression facilities.” ANJAN KUMAR MISHRA Secy. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Amendment Regulations, 2016, was published in Gazette of India, Part III, Sec.4 on 11th March 2016, vide F.No. M(1)T4S/CGD/1/2010. 6. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Sta ndards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Amendment Regulations, 2016, was published in Gazette of India, Part III, Sec.4 on 24th November 2016, vide F.
