No. PNGRB/Tech/1-T4SCGD/(4)/2023 (E-4844).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 61 of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act, 2006 (19 of 2006), the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board hereby makes the following Regulations further to amend the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Regulations, 2008,namely: - 1. Short title and commencement: (1) These regulations may be called the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Second Amendment Regulations, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Regulations, 2008, - (a) in Regulation 4, in sub-regulation (b), after the words "connecting hose”, the word “to” shall be substituted with "and". (b) in Schedule-1A, under heading “Material Specifications", at the end, the following sub-heading shall be inserted namely: "Consumer Appliance Domestic Gas Stoves using PNG as fuel shall conform to IS:17153." (c) in Schedule-1D, under heading “Design Installation and Testing", under sub-heading “Requirements for Electrical Installations in CGD Network": (i) the word "Lightening", shall be substituted with "Lightning". (ii) the word "IS:2309", shall be substituted with "IS/IEC 62305". (d) in Schedule-1G, sub-heading “References": (i) the phrase "IS-2309-for Lightening protection" shall be omitted. (ii) At the end, following phrases shall be inserted namely: "IS 17153-Domestic Gas Stoves for Use with Piped Natural Gas (PNG)—Specification IS/IEC 62305-Protection Against Lightning”. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Amendment Regulations, 2016, was published in Gazette of India, Part III, Sec.4 on 11th March 2016, vide F.No. M(1)T4S/CGD/1/2010. 6. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Amendment Regulations, 2016, was published in Gazette of India, Part III, Sec.4 on 24th November 2016, vide F.
