No. 36/05/2024-EO (SM-I) dated 22.02.2024 and OM dated 08.05.2024, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of Section 7 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016) read with Rule 9 of Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018 hereby extends the appointment of Shri Pramod Kumar Tiwari, IAS (AM:1991), as Director General of the Bureau of Indian Standards beyond 23rd May 2024 to till he attains the age of sixty year/superannuation i.e. 31st October 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
