Short title and commencement. —(1) These rules may be called the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Group 'A' posts) Recruitm ent (Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Group 'A’ posts) Recruitment Rules, 2023, in the Schedule, against serial num ber 2, relating to the post of Deputy Registrar, for the entry under column (12), the following shall be substituted, namely : - "Search -cum-Selection Committee (for considering selection of candidate) consisting of : - (i) Member, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission – Chairperson; (ii) Additional Secretary or Joint Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs – Member; (iii) Registrar or Joint Registrar, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission – Member .".
