Regarding reconstitution of Central Monitoring Committee under MS Act 2013

L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3193] NEW DELHI , WEDNES DAY, JULY 26, 2023/ SHRAVANA 4, 1945 CG-DL-E-27072023-247659 MINISTRY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT (Depart ment of Social Justice and Empowerment ) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 26th July, 2023 S.O. 3338(E). —In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -sections (1) and (2) of section 29 of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 (25 of 2013), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments further to amend the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment number S.O. 89(E), dated the 13th January, 2014 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part –II, section 3, sub -section (ii), namely: - (i) In the said notification, in paragraph 1, in sub -paragraph G, for item numbers (i) to (vi) and the entrie s relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: - ―(i) Smt. Anjna Panwar; (ii) Shri Bhagwat Prasad Makwana; (iii) Shri Ram Singh Balmiki; (iv) Ms. Abha Kumar; (v) Shri Nand Jee Mishra; and (vi) Shri Ravindra Pradhan.‖; (ii) In sub -paragraph I, for items (i) and (ii) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: - ―(i) Shri R.M. Sriram ; (ii) Shri Chaman Tulsyan – Heal India; (iii) Shri Bhupesh Sitaram Thulkar - Public Welfare Society, Nagpur and Peoples Education and Cultural Society, Nagpur.‖. 2. The term of office of the members of the Central Monitoring Committee nominated under sub -paragraphs G and I of paragraph 1 of the said notification shall be for period of three years from the date of publicati on of this notification.
