In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 61 of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act, 2006 (19 of 2006), the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Regulations, 2008, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement: 1) These regulations may be called the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Second Amendment Regulations, 2024. 2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Regulations, 2008, - 1) In Annexure-II, under the head of “Metering Equipment": i. In the row relating to "OIML R137-1&2", the words "Thermal Mass Flow" and the words "conforming to ISO 14511", shall be deleted; and ii.
