The appointments are made by amending the Government of India's notification S.O. 1102(E) dated 21st October, 2002, specifically by substituting serial numbers (23) and (25) and their related entries with the details of the new appointees. The term of office for these members is two years commencing from the date of this Notification (September 23, 2025) or until the appointment of their successors, whichever is longer. The principal notification S.O. 1102(E) was last amended by S.O. No. 1436 (E), dated 26th March, 2025.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (3) of section 3 of the Rehabilitation Council of India Act, 1992 (34 of 1992), the central Government hereby appoints the following persons as member to the Rehabilitation Council of India and for that purpose makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, number S.O. 1102(E) dated the 21st October, 2002, with effect from the date of publication of this notification, namely:- In the said notification, for serial numbers (23) and (25) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely:- Appointed under clause (h) of the sub-section (3) of section 3: (23) Shri Kanwar Singh Tanwar - Member Member of Parliament(Lok Sabha) Bungalow No. 1, Balwant Rai Mehta Lane, KG Marg, New Delhi-110001 (25) Dr. Parmar Jashvantsinh Salamsinh, - Member Member of Parliament(Rajya Sabha) 7B, Motilal Nehru Place, New Delhi-110011 The term of office of the above members shall be for a period of two years commencing from the date of this Notification or till the appointment of his successor, whichever is longer.
