Notification regarding appointment of Members of Parliament as Members of Central Monitoring Committee under MS Act 2013

L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-21032025-261828 EXTRAORDINARY PART II-Section 3-Sub-section (ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1334] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, MARCH 21, 2025/PHALGUNA 30, 1946 MINISTRY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT (Department of Social Justice and Empowerment) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21st March, 2025 S.O. 1352(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 29 of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 (25 of 2013), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, vide number S.O. 89(E) dated the 13th January, 2014, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), namely:-. In the said notification, in paragraph B, under the heading 'In pursuance of clause (f) of sub-section (2) of section 29 of the Act', for item numbers (i) and (ii) and the entries relating thereto, the following item numbers and entries shall be substituted respectively, namely:- “(i) Shri Chavda Vinod Lakhamshi, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) (ii) Shri Bhola Singh, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha)".
