No. PNGRB/COM/3 -PPPL Tariff (1)/2012 Vol -VI (E-4698 ).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 61 of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act, 2006 (19 of 2006), the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board, hereby makes the following regulations, to further amend the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and P etroleum Products Pipeline Transportation Tariff) Regulations, 2010, namely: - 1. Short title and commencement (1) These regulations may be called the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline Trans portation Tariff) Second Amendment Regulations, 2023. (2) These shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline Transportation Tariff) Regulations, 2010, - (a) in regulation 4, after the thirteenth proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: - "Provided also that the transitional period may on the completion of the extended transition period till 31.12.20 23, be further extended up to, and inclusive of, 31.03.2024"; (b) in regulation 5, after the twelfth proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: - "Provided also that the determination of the petroleum and petroleum products pipeline transportat ion tariff under this regulation shall be benchmarked against the goods tariff table of the railways as applicable on the date of the coming into force of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pip eline Transportation Tariff) Second Amendment Regulations, 2023 and if the goods tariff table of the railways is revised during the further extended period of transition, the Board may consider the benchmarking of the petroleum and petroleum products trans portation tariff against such revision." The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and Petroleum Product Pipeline Transportation Tariff) Amendment Regulations, 2016, was published in Gazette of India, Part III, Sec.4 on 19th December 2016, vide F. No. PNGRB/M(C)/62/2016. 6.
