Extension of Aadhar deadline for enrolment of beneficiaries under TPDS

L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3934] NEW DELHI, TUES DAY , SEPTEMBER 19, 2023/ BHADRA 28, 1945 CG-DL-E-19092023-248821 MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC DIS TRIBUTION (Department of Food and Public Distribution) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 19th September , 2023 S.O. 4099(E).—In pursuance of the provisions of section 7 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act , 2016 (18 of 2016), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, published vide number S.O. 371(E), dated the 8th February, 2017, namely : - In the said notification, - (a) in paragraph 1, in sub -paragraph (2), for the words, figures and letters “by 30th September, 2023”, the words, figures and letters “by 31st Decembe r, 2023” shall be substituted; (b) in paragraph 2, in sub -paragraph (1), for the words, figures and letters “by 30th September, 2023”, the words, figures and letters “by 31st December, 2023” shall be substituted.
