Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the order of the Government of India in the Department of Food and Public Distribution published in the Gazette of India

L. -33004/99 EXTRAORDINARY PART II —Section 3 —Sub-section ( ii) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3912] NEW DELHI, THURS DAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2023/ BHADRA 23, 194 5 CG-DL-E-14092023-248751 MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS , FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION (Department of Food and Public Distribution) ORDER New Delhi, the 14th September, 2023 S.O. 4074 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Centr al Government hereby makes the following amendment in the order of the Government of India in the Department of Food and Public Distribu tion published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part(II) Section -3, Sub Section(ii) vide number S.O. 2566(E) dated the 12th June, 2023, namely In the said Order, in the Paragraph 2(i) shall be replaced as under : “2(i) Wheat for a period up to 31st March 2024 with following stock limits for all States and Union Territories:  Traders/Wholesaler: 2000 MT;  Retailer : 10 MT for each Retail outlet.  Big Chain Retailer: 10 MT for each outlet and 2000 MT at all their depot.  Processors: 75% of annual insta lled capacity or quantity equivalent to monthly installed capacity multiplied by remaining months of 2023 -24, whichever is less .” [F.
