NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 3rd January, 2025
S.O. 93(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of section 29 of the Prohibition
of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 (25 of 2013), the Central Government
hereby makes the following further amendments to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of
Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part-II, Section-3 Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 89 (E), dated the 13th January, 2014, namely:—
In the said notification, in paragraph F,
(i) under the heading States, for item numbers (iv) and (vi) and the entries relating thereto, the following entries
shall respectively be substituted, namely:—
"(iv) Haryana,
(vi) Bihar";
(ii) under the heading, Union Territory, for item number (vii) and the entry relating thereto, the entry "(vii)
Andaman and Nicobar Islands" shall be substituted.
