Short title and commencement:- (1) These rules may be called the Central Civil Services (Pension) Amendment Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2021, the following proviso shall be inserted below sub-rule (7) of Rule 37, namely: - “Provided that nothing in this sub-rule shall be applicable to the employees (other than OF Schools and OF Hospitals) of erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board who do not opt for absorption in DPSUs, such employees shall continue to be on deemed deputation till retirement to the DPSUs, created from the conversion of its production units, on terms of foreign service without any deputation allowance."
