NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th April, 2024
G.S.R. 242(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All-India Services
Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), the Central Government, after consultation with the Governments of the States concerned,
hereby makes the following further amendments in the Indian Administrative Service (Probationers' Final
Examination) Regulations, 1955, namely: -
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Indian Administrative Service (Probationers' Final Examination)
Amendment Regulations, 2024.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Indian Administrative Service (Probationers' Final Examination) Regulations, 1955, (herein after referred
to as the said regulations), in regulation 4, in the table, under clause (a), in column (1) under the heading 'Subjects',
for item (2), the following item shall be substituted, namely:-
"(2) Basic Economic Principles for Administrators".
3. In the said regulations, in the 'First Schedule', under the heading ‘WRITTEN EXAMINATION', for sub-
heading 2 relating to 'BASIC ECONOMIC PRINCIPLES AND FIVE YEARS PLANS', the sub-heading “2. BASIC
ECONOMIC PRINCIPLES FOR ADMINISTRATORS" shall be substituted.
