Short title and commencement — (1) These rules may be called the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Group 'A' posts) Recruitment (Second Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Group 'A' posts) Recruitment Rules, 2023, in the Schedule, against serial number 3, relating to the post of Senior Principal Private Secretary, for the entries under column (12), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "Search-cum-Selection Committee (for considering selection) consisting of:- (i) Member, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission - Chairperson; (ii) Additional Secretary or Joint Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs – Member; (iii) Registrar or Joint Registrar, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission – Member.".
