L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India CG-DL-E-03072026-274049 EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 486] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 2026 4930 GI/2026 MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION (Department of Food and Public Distribution) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st July, 2026 G.S.R. 544(E). — In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of sub-section (2) of section 39 read with clause (d) of sub-section (4) of section 22 of the National Food Security Act, 2013 (20 of 2013), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Food Security (Assistance to State Governments) Rules, 2015 namely:- 1. Short title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Food Security (Assistance to State Governments) Amendment Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2.
