DRAFT RULES 1. Short title and extent.- (1) These rules may be called the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017, in rule (15), in sub-rule (1), after clause (n), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:- "(o) Accessibility Guidelines and Standards for Higher Education Institutions and Universities as specified in the notification of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, vide notification number F.
