The Directorate of Gurdwara Elections, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, issued Notification No. F.1/367/DGE/2020/469 on June 26, 2025. In exercise of powers conferred under Rule 3(1) of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (Registration of Electors) Rules, 1973, the Lt. Governor of Delhi appointed 12 adhoc DANICS officers of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi as Electoral Registration Officers. These appointments are for the immediate preparation of Fresh Photo Electoral Rolls for the election of Members in 46 Gurdwara Wards of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, which was established under Section 3 of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Act, 1971. The appointed officers include Surinder Narang, Satish Kumar Gupta, Yogesh Jain, Bal Raj Singh, Anil Kumar, Sabina Avasthy, Vijay Chandna, Ram Hans Meena, Sanjeev Kumar, Chetan Bhatia, Hari Singh Meena, and Gurpreet Singh, serving in various departments such as Cooperative, Education, GB Pant Hospital, Higher Education, Industries, Labour, NHMC, TTE, Employment, and Rural Development.
