The Office of the Commissioner of Excise, Entt. and Luxury Tax L & N, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, issued Notification No. F.10(210)/EX./IMFL/2011-12/303764/1965-83 on 26th November, 2025. In accordance with Rule 52 of the Delhi Excise Rules, 2010, this order declares "Dry Days" for all specified L-type and P-type licensees (including L-1, L-1F, L-2, L-3, L-4, L-5, L-6, L-6FG, L-6FE, L-7, L-7FG, L-7FE, L-8, L-10, L-12, L-12F, L-14, L-15, L-15F, L-16, L-16F, L-17, L-17F, L-18, L-18F, L-19, L-19F, L-20, L-20F, L-21, L-21F, L-22, L-23, L-23F, L-25, L-26, L-27, L-28, L-28F, L-29, L-29F, L-31, L-32, L-33, L-34, L-35, P-10, P-10A and P-13) with retail vends/premises situated in 12 specific wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. These "Dry Days" are mandated due to the Bye Election of 2025 in these wards. The periods for the "Dry Days" are from 17:30 hours on 28th November, 2025 (Friday) to 17:30 hours on 30th November, 2025 (Sunday), covering the 48 hours before the polling period, and from 00:00 hours to 24:00 hours on 03rd December, 2025 (Wednesday), which is the date of counting of votes. The affected wards include 35-Mundka, 56-Shalimar Bagh-B, 65-Ashok Vihar, 74-Chandni Chowk, 76-Chandni Mahal, 120-Dwarka-B, 128-Dichaon Kalan, 139-Naraina, 163-Sangam Vihar-A, 164-Dakshin Puri, 173-Greater Kailash, and 198-Vinod Nagar.
