Exercising powers under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (26 of 1881), and referencing the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs' Notification No. U-11030/2/73-UTL dated June 28, 1973, and in partial modification of the Department's Notification No. F. 53/812/GAD/CN/2025/4503-4539 dated December 04, 2025, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has ordered that the holiday, originally declared for Wednesday, May 27, 2026, will now be observed on Thursday, May 28, 2026. The notification is signed by Pradeep Tayal, Jt. Secy., by order and in the name of the Lieutenant Governor.
