Capital Territory of Delhi received the assent of the President of India on 17th June, 2025 and is hereby published for
general information:-
THE DELHI SIKH GURUDWARAS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2025
(ACT No. 03 of 2025)
(As passed by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on 4th January, 2022).

An Act further to amend the Delhi Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1971.
BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in the Seventy sixth year of the
Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title, extent and commencement.-(1) This Act may be called the Delhi Sikh Gurdwaras (Amendment)
Act. 2025.
(2) It extends to the whole of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
(2) It shall come into force with immediate effect.
2. Amendment of Section 4 - In the Delhi Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1971 (82 of 1971), in clause (b) of Section 4.
(1) for the words "nine members", the words "ten members" shall be substituted;
(ii) In sub-clause (ii) of clause (b) of Section 4,
(a) for the words "four members", the words "five members"shall be substituted;
(b) the word "and" shall be omitted:
(c) after the words "Sri Takhat Hazur Sahib, Nanded", the words brackets and figure "and (5) Sri Takhat Damdama
Sahib, Talwandi Sabo, Bhatinda, Punjab" shall be inserted.
