No.14 (89)/LA -2023/ jtsecylaw /402-411.—The following Act of the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi received the assent of the Lt. Gover nor of Delhi on the 20th December, 2023 and is hereby published for general information. “THE DELHI APPROPRIATION (No. 4) ACT, 2023” (DELHI ACT No. 10 OF 2023) (As passed by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on 15th Decem ber, 2023). [22nd December, 2023] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for the services in respect of the financial year 2023 -2024. BE it en acted by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in the Seventy -Fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows: - Short title. 1. This Act may be called the Delhi Appropriation (No. 4) Act, 2023. Issue of `2165,56,68,000/ - from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for the financial year 2023 -2024. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, there may be paid and applied further sums not exceedin g those specified in column (5) of the Schedule, amounting in the aggregate to the sum of Rupees two thousand one hundred sixty five crore fifty six lakh sixty eight thousand only towards defraying the several charges which will come in the course of payme nt during the financial year 2023 -2024 in respect of the services specified in column (2) of the Schedule. Appropriation. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of Delhi b y this Act, shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the said year.
