Delhi, the 16th October, 2025
No. F. 10(7)/SEC/MCD/Bye-Election/2025/21095.– WHEREAS 12 vacancies of Councillors have occurred
in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi on account of one councillor having been elected as Member of Parliament and
11 councillors having been elected as Members of the Delhi Legislative Assembly in the recent Assembly elections.
NOW THEREFORE, in pursuance of the powers conferred upon me under Section 7 of the Delhi Municipal
Corporation Act, 1957, as amended by till date and the rules made there under and under all other enabling provisions
on this subject I, Dr. Vijay Dev, State Election Commissioner, National Capital Territory of Delhi, hereby appoint in
consultation with Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi, the Officers of the Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi as shown in column 2 of the
table below as 'EXPENDITURE OBSERVERS' for the wards shown against each in column no. 3 of the table below,
in connection with the forthcoming Bye Elections to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi as under:-
