The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, HOME (DOP) DEPARTMENT, issued a notification dated 16th May, 2025 (F. No. 11/17/H-DOP/2025/393-406). In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the Competent Authority, with the approval of the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor, GNCT of Delhi, has appointed Sh. Akhand Pratap Singh, Advocate as Special Public Prosecutor. This appointment is to represent the state before the Ld. Trial Court as well as the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi in case e- FIR No. 016133/2024, registered under sections 379, 401, 468, 471, 120-B, and 34 of the IPC and sections 3 and 4 of the MCOC Act, P.S. Nangloi, Delhi, which was investigated by the Crime Branch, Delhi. The appointment is based on the fee structure proposed by Delhi Police vide their letter dated 25.03.2025, which includes an Appearance fee of Rs. 40,000/-, Conference/consultation fee of Rs. 15,000/-, Drafting Petition fee of Rs. 15,000/-, and Clerkage at 10% of the total bill amount.
