No. 8/208/2023/HP-II/407—416.—In view of the Judgment of Hon'ble High Court of Delhi at New Delhi titled as P vs the State of NCT of Delhi & Anr. dated 04.09.2023 bearing Crl. MC. 528/2023 and Crl. M.A. 2088/2023 & section 173 (2) (ii) of Cr.P.C, 1973, the Lt. Governor is pleased to issue following directions to the Delhi Police:- 1. To provide physical copy as well as digital copy of the charge-sheet/closure report/untraced report/cancellation report to complainant/victim/informant within one week of filing the same in the Hon'ble Court, as the case may be. 2. To send text message or whatsapp message on the mobile number of the complainant /victim/informant etc detailing therein the Name of the Court, Case No., Next Date, CNR number of hearing etc. 3. A written notice be also given/sent to the complainant /victim/informant about the filling of the charge- sheet in the Court with other details as relevant for him/her to know about the case.
