No. B/14/2026-Home-II/969-977.—In pursuance of the provisions of clause (r) of section 2 of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025 (13 of 2025) read with notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, S.O. 3988 (E), dated 1st September, 2025, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to authorise the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Branch, Delhi Police, to perform the functions of the Registration Officer under the said Act, within the jurisdiction of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, who is also designated as the Foreigners Registration Officer.
