NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 16th May, 2025
No. F. 61(2033)/Appointment of CWC's & JJB's/DD (CPU)/DWCD/2023/460-494.—In exercise of the
powers conferred by sub-sections (1) (2) & (6) of section 27 read with sub-section 59 of Section 2 of the Juvenile
Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and with the approval of the Hon'ble President accorded under
Section 45 (D) of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act, 1991 (amended in 2023) conveyed by
Ministry of Home Affairs' letter No. 14011/23/2024-Delhi-l, dated 05.04.2025, the Hon'ble Lt. Governor, GNCTD
hereby makes the following appointments for the posts of Chairperson and Members in Child Welfare Committees
with immediate effect :-

The aforesaid Chairperson and Members of Child Welfare Committees shall exercise the powers and discharge their
duties conferred on such Committees in relation to children in need of care and protection in accordance with the
Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children)
Model Rules, 2016 in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The duration of their appointment will be for a period of
three years w.e.f the date of this notification.
