NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 16th May, 2024
No. F. 6/6/2022-Judl./Suptlaw/1044-1050.—In pursuance of the provisions of rule 18 of the Delhi Judicial
Service Rules, 1970 as amended up to date, the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, in
consultation with the High Court of Delhi, is pleased to appoint Mr. Amit Kumar as member of the Delhi Judicial
Service on probation for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of his respective office on
being posted by the Delhi High Court, New Delhi.
2. The above appointment is on purely provisional basis, and subject to the verification of character and
antecedents of the candidate from the concerned authorities and verification of his caste certificate/PH category
certificate, where ever applicable. If the verification reveals that the claim to belong to Scheduled Caste and
Scheduled Tribe or Physically Handicapped category, as the case may be, is false, the services will be terminated
forthwith without assigning any further reasons and without prejudice to such further action as may be taken under the
provisions of the Indian Penal Code for production of false certificate.
3. The above appointment shall be subject to the provisions of the Delhi Judicial Service Rules, 1970 as
amended up to date and other orders/instructions as may be applicable to the officers of the Delhi Judicial Service
from time to time.
4. The inter-se seniority of the above named candidate in the Delhi Judicial Service vis-à-vis other selected
candidates will remain the same as assigned to them in the merit list prepared by the Selection Committee in
accordance with the provisions of the Delhi Judicial Service Rules, 1970 as amended up to date.
5. The post carries the scale of pay of Rs. 56100-177500 in the 10th level of matrix of 7th CPC Revised
Corresponding Pay Matrix and Pay Level plus usual allowances as may be applicable in this behalf from time to time.
