No. 2/1/88/HP-II/Pt.-I/1578-81), states that the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is satisfied that it is necessary to direct that the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, may exercise the powers of detaining authority. This power is conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 3, read with clause (e) of Section 2 of the National Security Act, 1980, and allows the Commissioner to exercise powers under sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the aforesaid Act. This authorization is valid for the period from October 19, 2025, to January 18, 2026. The order is issued by the Lt. Governor and signed by RAMESH KUMAR, Dy. Secy. (Home-III).
