Detailed Summary

The Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, exercising powers conferred under Section 10 of the Delhi Police Act, 1974 (Act No. 34 of 1978) read with clause (s) of Section 2 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, and the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Notification SO 2506 (E), dated 28th June, 2024, has made amendments. In partial modification of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi's Notification No. F.1/6/2016/HP-I/Estt./6415 to 6422, Dated 31st December, 2018, the word "TIMARPUR" in Schedule A at Sl. No. 50, Entry 12 shall be substituted by the word "BURARI". All other provisions of the 2018 notification remain unchanged. This amendment shall take effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, which is May 13, 2025.
