In pursuance of sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), and Government of India Notification number S.O. 1533 (E) dated 14 September, 2006, the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change constituted the Union territory Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority and the Union territory Level Expert Appraisal Committee for the National Capital Territory of Delhi, vide Notification number S.O 4620(E) dated 09 October, 2025. Subsequently, in accordance with paras 11 and 12 of Notification No. S.O 4620(E) dated 09 October 2025, the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, through its Department of Environment, Forests and Wildlife, hereby notifies the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), located at 3rd Floor, Block-1, DMRC IT Park, Shastri Park, Delhi-110053, as the Agency to act as Secretariat. The DPCC will provide all necessary financial and logistic support, including accommodation, transportation, and other facilities, for the statutory functions of both the Authority and the Committee. Additionally, the DPCC will arrange to pay sitting fees, traveling allowances, and dearness allowances to the Chairmen and Members of the Authority and the Committee, and will issue a separate order for this purpose expeditiously. WHEREAS in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (3) of the section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the Government of India, Notification number S.O. 1533 (E) dated 14 September, 2006, the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India has constituted Union territory Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority for the Union territory, National Capital territory of Delhi, (herein after referred to as the authority) vide Notification number S.O 4620(E) dated 09 October, 2025 and to assist the said authority, the Central Government, in consultation with the Union Territory, National Capital Territory of Delhi has constituted the Union territory Level Expert Appraisal Committeefor the Union territory, National Capital Territory of Delhi(herein after referred to as the committee) as well; 2. AND WHEREAS in pursuance of the above referred Notification dated 9 October, 2025, the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi is to notify an Agency to look after the Secretariat functions for the effective functioning of the Authorityand the Committee and 3. NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of paras 11 and 12 of the said Notification NoS.O 4620(E) dated 09 October 2025, the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby notifies the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), situated at 3rd Floor, Block-1, DMRC IT Park, Shastri Park, Delhi-110053, as the Agency to act as Secretariat which shall provide all financial and logistic support including accommodation, transportation and such other facilities in respect of all statutory functions of the Authority and the Committee. 4. The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) shall arrange to pay sitting fee, traveling allowance and dearness allowance to the Chairmen and Members of the Authority and the Committee. For this purpose, Delhi Pollution Control Committee will issue a separate order expeditiously.
