The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi's Land and Building Department (Land Acquisition Branch), through F. No. 8(32)/17/L&B/LA/4827 dated September 6, 2025, has notified the assignment of the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), located at Indraprastha Estate, Ring Road, New Delhi-110002, to carry out a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) study and prepare a report. This action is taken by the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi under the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Social Impact Assessment and Consent) Rules, 2014. This is read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No.S.O.2740(E) dated October 21, 2014, and S.O. 2004(E) dated July 21, 2015. IIPA was previously identified as a Social Impact Assessment Unit vide notification No.F.8(2)/9/2015/L&B/LA/2373 dated June 13, 2017. The SIA study and report are for the acquisition of land by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), GNCT of Delhi, specifically Khasra No. 49//9/2 min (1-00), 49//12 min (3-00), and 49//13 min (1-00) of Village Pehladpur, Banger Delhi, for the Rohini Project, New Delhi. IIPA is mandated to complete the study as per the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement, Act, 2013, within a period of six months from the notification's issuance date.

Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Indraprastha Estate, Ring Road, New Delhi-110002, (Social Impact Unit) shall carry out the social impact assessment study as per the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement, Act, 2013 within a period of 06 (Six) month from the date of issue of this notification.
