Detailed Summary

The Election Commission of India, in pursuance of Rule 8 of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Elections Rules, 1974, and in accordance with its Notification No.480/Programme/2025, dated the 07th August, 2025, has fixed Room No. F-101, Vasudha, First Floor, Parliament House, New Delhi, as the designated place of polling for the Vice-Presidential Election. Additionally, the Commission has specified the polling hours to be from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., both inclusive, for the poll to be taken if necessary. This notification, dated 7th August, 2025, is published for general information and is issued by order of SUMAN KUMAR DAS, Secretary, Election Commission of India, and TONGMINTHANG MISAO, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, Delhi.
