No. 24/33/Disb/DGHS/HQ/2023/165.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 59 of the rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (Central act 49 of 2016), read with sub-section (a) of section 45-D of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act, 1991, S.O No. 3753(E) dated 2nd September, 2024 issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby designates and notify the Director General Health Services, Govt. of NCT of Delhi as the Appellate Authority against the decision of Certifying Authority as notified in the Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 dated 27th December 2016 for the purpose of issuance of disability certificate in NCT of Delhi.
