The prohibition applies to Motor Cycles (including scooters and other-wheelers), Three wheelers (including e-Carts and e-Rickshaws), Non-motorized vehicles, Agricultural Tractors (with or without trailers), Multi Axle Hydraulic Trailer Vehicles, and Quadri-Cycles. The affected highways include NH-344M (from Bankoli Village to Bharthal Chowk), NH-248 BB (from Shiv Murti to Kherki Daula on NH 48), and the Delhi-Gurugram section of NH-48 (from Km 14+300 to Km 42+000). The purpose is to mitigate risks to these vehicles from high-speed traffic due to speed differentials and safety concerns. Violation of these orders incurs a fine of Rs. 2000/- as per Section 194(1) of the Act. Furthermore, Assistant Sub-Inspectors and above of Delhi Traffic Police, and Head Constables and above of the Transport Department, GNCTD, are authorized to compound this offence for Rs. 2000/-, with proceeds deposited into "Major Head 0041, taxes on vehicles, 101-IMV (Fees & Fine)". This notification comes into force from its publication date in the Official Gazette.

Further, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 200 of the said Act, the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to authorize the following officers to compound the aforementioned offence with the amount of Rupees 2000/-: (a) Officers of the rank of Assistant sub-Inspector or above of Delhi Traffic Police; (b) Officers of the rank of Head Constable and above of Transport Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The amount compounded by the authorized officers shall be deposited in the "Major Head 0041, taxes on vehicles, 101- IMV (Fees & Fine)", of the Transport Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.
