F.No. 61(2033)/Appointment of CWC's & JJB's/DD (CPU)/DWCD/2023/66-107.— In exercise of the
powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 read with sub-section 59 of Section 2 of the Juvenile Justice (Care
and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and with the approval of the Hon'ble President accorded under Section 45 (D)
of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act, 1991 (amended in 2023)conveyed by Ministry of Home
Affairs' letter No14011/23/2024-Delhi-lDated 05.04.2025, the Hon'ble Lt. Governor, GNCTD hereby makesthe
following appointmentsfor the post of Member Social Workers in Juvenile Justice Boardswith immediate effect :-

The aforesaid Member Social Workers of Juvenile Justice Boards shall exercise the powers and discharge
their duties conferred on such Boards in relation to children in conflict with law in accordance with the Juvenile
Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Model
Rules, 2016 in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The duration of their appointment will be for a period of three
years w.e.f the date of this notification.
