This notification issued by the Department of Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, announces the appointment of Mr. Sanjeev Jain, an Officer of Delhi Higher Judicial Service, as Principal District Judge on a regular basis. The appointment, effective from the date Mr. Jain assumes charge, is based on the recommendation of the High Court of Delhi and is made under Section 20 of the Punjab Courts Act, 1918, applicable in Delhi. The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi authorized the appointment, as indicated by Samar Vishal, Special Secretary.
