NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 28th February, 2025
F. No. 11/31/H-DOP/2024/134 -142.— In exercise of power conferred by clause (a) and (b) of subsection
(1) of section 20 of The Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act 46 of 2023) read with Government of India,
Ministry of Home Affairs Notification bearing No. S.O.2506 (E) dated 28th June, 2024 and all other powers enabling
him in this behalf, the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to establish the following:
(a) Directorate of Prosecution in National Capital Territory of Delhi at State Level consisting of one Director of
Prosecution and 5 Deputy Directors of Prosecution;
(b) District Directorate of Prosecution in each Judicial District of National Capital Territory of Delhi consisting
of 13 Deputy Directors and 22 Assistant Directors of Prosecution.
This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in Official Gazette.
