The Department of Law, Justice & Legislative Affairs, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, issued a notification on November 27, 2025 (F. No. 2(22)/Lit/01/Vol.III:10932-10938) concerning the Advocates' Welfare Fund Trustee Committee. In exercise of powers under sub-section (1) and sub-section (3)(f) of Section 4 of the Advocates' Welfare Fund Act, 2001 (45 of 2001) read with sub-section (a) of Section 45(D) of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) Act, 1991, the Hon'ble Lt. Governor, Delhi, appointed Sh. Maninder Singh, Sr. Advocate, and Sh. Neeraj, Advocate, as members. Additionally, Sh. Sameer Vashisht, Standing Counsel (Civil), Delhi High Court, was appointed as a member under sub-section (1) and sub-section (3)(e) of Section 4 of the Advocates' Welfare Fund Act, 2001 (45 of 2001) read with sub-section (a) of Section 45(D) of the GNCTD Act, 1991. Concurrently, the names of Sh. Ramesh Gupta, Sr. Advocate, Sh. Rajiv Khosla, Advocate, and Ms. Nandita Rao, Sr. Advocate, were omitted from the committee's list of members. This notification comes into force on its publication date in the Delhi Gazette.
