No. 280 PART IV GOVERNMENT OF THE NATIONAL CAPITAL TERRITORY OF DELHI 7760 DG/2024 LABOUR DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION Delhi, the 29th November, 2024 No. F.17(20)/BOCW/Lab/06/4635-49.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 18 of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Other Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 (27 of 1996) read with rule 251 of the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2002, and read with the Notification No. U-11020/1/2000-UTL dated the 14th July, 2000 and Notification S.O.3753 (E) dated 02.09.2024issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the Hon'ble Lt. Governor of Delhi is pleased to reconstitute the existing Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board consisting of the following persons with effect from the date of notification for a period of three years or till it is reconstituted, namely:- 1. Additional Chief Secretary (Finance), GNCT of Delhi Chairperson 2. Nominee of the Central Government as nominated by the Central Government vide letter dated 05.03.2019- Welfare Commissioner, Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Labour Welfare Organization, Chandigarh Member 3. Five Members representing the Government. (i) Secretary, Labour, GNCTD. Member (ii) Commissioner, Labour, GNCTD Member (iii) Additional Commissioner, Labour, GNCTD Member (iv) Special Secretary, Finance, GNCTD or his nominee not below the Rank of Deputy Secretary Member (v) Principal Secretary, Law, GNCTD or his nominee not below the Rank of Deputy Secretary Member 4. Members representing the Employers. (i) Engineer in Chief- PWD Member (ii) Engineer in Chief-DDA Member (iii) Additional General Manager (HR), DMRC Member (iv) Engineer in Chief- MCD Member (v) Chief Engineer, DTTDC Member 5. Representatives of Employees.
