Detailed Summary

The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Directorate of Gurdwara Elections, issued a notification dated August 29, 2025 (F. No. 1/367/DGE/2020/1065) announcing that the Lt. Governor of Delhi, exercising powers under Rule 3(1) and Rule 3(2) of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (Registration of Electors) Rules, 1973, has appointed officers with immediate effect. Three DCA officers, namely Dewan Chand (CEO), Ram Kanwar (Development), and Satish Kumar (SCERT), have been appointed as Electoral Registration Officers. Additionally, one Grade – I (DSS)/Section Officer, Mahender Kumar (Directorate of Education), has been appointed as Assistant Electoral Registration Officer. These appointments are for the preparation of Fresh Photo Electoral Rolls for the election of Members in respect of 46 Gurdwara Wards of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, which was established under Section 3 of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Act, 1971.
