No. AR/BKG/RCS/107730075/21-22/3087), has withdrawn the powers of Assistant Collector Grade-I/II. These powers, previously conferred upon officials of Co-operative Banks and Co-operative Societies registered under the Delhi Co-operative Societies Act, 2003, were used for the purpose of recovery of dues as arrears of land revenue. This action is taken in exercise of powers conferred by Section 7 of the Delhi Land Revenue Act, 1954 (Act No. 12 of 1954), Section 15 of the Uttar Pradesh Land Revenue Act, 1901 (as extended to the National Capital Territory of Delhi), and clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 27 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 (as extended to the National Capital Territory of Delhi). The notification explicitly states that it shall supersede all previous notifications issued in this regard, except for actions taken or omissions committed prior to the date of supersession. The notification was issued by order and in the name of the Lt. Governor, and signed by PANDURANG K POLE, IAS, Secretary, (Cooperation) from the Office of the Registrar Co-operative Societies (Banking Branch).
