The Council's inspection report dated 21 July 2023 found the institution deficient in clinical and teaching facilities, constituting serious deficiencies rendering it unable to run the ANM Course. Exercising powers under Section 14(3)(b), the Council declared that, with effect from 21 May 2024, any person holding an ANM qualification from TVN Academy of Health Science would be entitled to register only in the State of Tamil Nadu rather than nationally. Thiruvallur 631208 Tamil Nadu is recognized by State Government of Tamil Nadu and Tamil Nadu Nurses & Midwives Council to conduct ANM Course. Whereas, a notice no. 18-29/14129-INC (49626) dated 16/01/2024 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the Secretary (Health & FW), Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu, 4th Floor, Fort St. George, Secretariat, Chennai 600009, Tamil Nadu was issued. Copy of the notice dated 16/01/2024 was also enclosed to, TVN Academy of Health Science situated at TVM Nagar Podaturpet, Distt. Thiruvallur 631208 Tamil Nadu. In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of TVN Academy of Health Science Even the institution TVN Academy of Health Science has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 21/07/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run ANM Course Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from 21/05/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of ANM Course from TVN Academy of Health Science situated at TVM Nagar Podaturpet, Distt.
