Gulbarga 585104 Karnataka (“College”) to conduct GNM course. Whereas, in terms of Section 13 (1) of the Indian Nursing Council Act ("Act"), th e Indian Nursing Council ("Council") has the power to inspect any Institution recognized as a training institution by State authorities. However, when the inspectors appointed by the Council reached the address provided by the College on 11.01.2023, it was found that no college is existing on the said address. Whereas, letter no. 18 -15/03503 -INC dated 21.04.2023 was issued to the College informing them about the closure of their application for suitability. Further, a notice no. 18 -15/03503 -INC (47198) dat ed 26.12.2023 was issued to the Principal Secretary, Health and family welfare department (state government of Karnataka) asking them for their remarks/ comments on the issue of no college existing on the address provided. However, no comments were receive d by the Council. Whereas, the Executive Committee of the Council had considered the aforesaid matter in its entirety. After conducting physical inspections, it was found that no college in the name of Dr. Ajay School of nursing existed on the address pro vided and that obtaining recognition from the state authorities by providing incorrect information amounts to a serious deficiency. Hence, therefore, the Council in exercise of its power conferred under Section 14 (3) -(b) of the Act declares that with effect from 21.05.2024, any person obtaining a qualification of GNM from Dr. Ajay school of Nursing allegedly situated at Opp. Veerender Patel Layout, University Road, Gulbarga, Gulbarga, Distt.
