Whereas, a notice no. 18 -36/13434 -INC (46143) dated 26/12/2023 for withdrawal of Recognition under section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to Chief Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand, Nepal House, Doranda, Ranchi – 834002, Jharkhand was issued. Copy of the notice dated 26/12/2023 was also enclosed to Dhanbad School Of Nursing situated at Asarfi Hospital Baramuri, Bisunpur, Polytechnic, Dhanbad, Distt. - Dhanbad, Pin Code - 828130, Jharkhand . In the notice issued, the State Government was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution. Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case of Dhanbad School of Nursing . Even the institution Dhanbad School of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued. Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated 07/03/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e., clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute the institution is unable to run ANM, GNM, B.Sc(N) and Post Basic B.Sc(N) Course. Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3)(b) declares that with effect from 21/05/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of ANM, GNM, B.Sc(N) and Post Basic B.Sc(N) from Dhanbad School Of Nursing situated at Asarfi Hospital Baramuri, Bisunpur, Polytechnic, Dhanbad, Distt. - Dhanbad, Pin Code - 828130, Jharkhand shall be entitled to be registered only in the State of Jharkhand.
