NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th August, 2025
S.O. 3923(E).— Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal number S.
O. 1245(E), dated the 18th March, 2025, issued under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Coal Bearing Areas
(Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), and published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 18th March, 2025 the Central
Government gave notice of its intention to acquire 773.2987 hectares (approximately) or 1910.821 acres
(approximately) the land and all rights in or over such land described in the Schedule appended to that notification;
And whereas the competent authority in pursuance of section 8 of the said Act has made his report to the
Central Government;
And whereas the Central Government after considering the aforesaid report and after consulting to the
Government of Maharashtra, is satisfied that the land measuring 773.2987 hectares (approximately) or 1910.821 acres
(approximately) and all rights in or over such land as specified in the Schedule appended hereto should be acquired;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the said Act, the
Central Government hereby declares that the land measuring 773.2987 hectares (approximately) or 1910.821 acres
(approximately) and all rights in or over such land as described in the said Schedule are hereby acquired.

in East direction through the outer boundary of Plot Numbers 81, 82, 83, 84 and 85 of village Sakhari and meets Point
'B' on the common village boundary of village Sakhari and Pauni.
B - C: Line starts from Point 'B', passes in South direction along the outer boundary of Plot Number 85 of village
Sakhari and the already acquired land for Gauri-Pauni Expn. OCM and meets Point 'C' on the common village
boundary of village Sakhari and Pauni.
C-D: Line starts from Point 'C', passes in West direction along outer boundary of Plot Numbers 85, 84, 83, 82 and

West direction and meets Point 'N', in village Chincholi Khurd.
N-O: Line starts from Point 'N', passes in West direction, crosses the common village boundary of Chincholi
(Khurd) and Hirapur and meets Point 'O' in village Hirapur.
O-E: Line starts from Point 'O', passes in North direction along the outer boundary of Plot Numbers 21, 20, 19, 18
